Ukraine Today .org Reader Feedback: Editors are Suffering?

02/14/2026 – UkraineToday.org

This is some more feedback from a valued Reader that has sent an email of concern to the Editors on Ukraine Today .org. He makes a good point; is this site about Ukraine or for the Editor’s personal political views which do not serve Ukraine?

After all, according to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, “Large majorities of both parties (74% Republicans, 77% Democrats) support increased sanctions against Russia,”

Here is the letter we received 12 Feb. 2026:

Is this a site to get news on Ukraine and war or is this an anti Trump site? Everyday, there are articles about Trump in the US that have nothing to do with Ukraine.

Editors are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. Trump is a factor in war and not going anywhere for 3 years. Not sure why a site about Ukraine would publish US domestic anti Trump politics.

FYI. I didn’t vote for Trump and don’t like his position on Ukraine.

  1. “Is this a site to get news on Ukraine and war or is this an anti Trump site? Everyday, there are articles about Trump in the US that have nothing to do with Ukraine.”

Where does this guy live? Under a rock?
Of course, Taco has something to do with Ukraine. Also, with the mafia state and this war. The United States was the largest supplier of military aid until this spray-tanned sack of dung got back into the WH. Now, aid has virtually come to a full stop.
The U.S. is the country with some of the most effective weapons that Ukraine has in its arsenal, including the most vital one to defend against ballistic missiles, the Patriots. Now, it’s up to Europe to buy such items for Ukraine.
The U.S., under Taco, has been consistently pressuring the VICTIM to make consessions, while the perpetrator gets off scotfree. Its Ukraine that is forced to surrender its territories, it’s Ukraine that is forced to break its own laws to have an election during war and martial law. The illegitimate leader of the mafia state is not being forced to make any concessions whatsoever. This is YOUR president doing this. No other Western leader is even remotely so biased.
Not to forget, the orange gangster attacked Zelensky in the Oval Office like a junkyard dog, along with Mr. Makeupman, desecrating the most important office on this planet.
And the orange bandit gave the war criminal the red carpet treatment, which he has not done to any other leader. This was thus far the lowest point in our nation’s history which still makes me want to vomit when I see the images.
I don’t know what’s inside the skulls of some people who cannot grasp the importance of the U.S. and its president has in this war, and this in every possible catagory. And that includes you, Red.

So, Red, now you can forward my message to this guy.

    • Don’t forget threats against Denmark and Canada, two of America’s and Ukraine’s most loyal allies. 😤

    • Yep, I knew this guy would get attacked instead of respected. That explains everything. Now you can clearly see why we’re losing readership. Or rather I should say…you SHOULD clearly see. You can’t see because you’re blinded by your hate. I’m sure putin is proud of you and your work.

  2. Many Ukrainian sites report on Trump and the United States, since the US originally was Ukraine’s #1 ally. When reporting about Trump screwing things up, it’s about Ukraine and other allies that are affected by it. I personally fry him when necessary but also give credit when credit is due. A free press does not work like in ruSSia. I think whoever wants to support Ukraine comes here. Some MAGAs may not even know what their president is actually doing when it comes to foreign policy, they may be glad to get some (painful) info sometimes. What shall we do? Praise Trump for halting all aid to Ukraine, humiliating Zelensky and rolling out the red carpet for Vladolf?

  3. I agree, there are some things posted about trumpkov that have nothing to do with Ukraine. (Including, I might point out, an article about the Melania movie – it’s not clear how a 75 million dollar bribe from Jeff Bezos to trumpkov relates to Ukraine.)

But if the President of the United States is in fact a ruSSian asset, that certainly relates to Ukraine (and explains a lot). And much about U.S. domestic politics affects whether we as a country support Ukraine or support ruSSia and trumpkov’s BFF putler.

You start out talking about support for Ukraine, but only quote numbers for sanctions against Russia, not for actually supporting Ukraine.

Here are more numbers from that article, which can be seen at https://globalaffairs.org/research/public-opinion-survey/dramatic-rise-republican-support-ukraine

75% of Democrats support sending additional arms and military supplies to the Ukrainian government; only 51% of Republicans do.

79% of Democrats support providing economic assistance to Ukraine; only 41% of Republicans do. (And only 35% of MAGA do.)

77% of Democrats view President Volodymyr Zelenskyy favorably; only 40% of Republicans do.
