The President recalled that Russia is killing civilians, including children. Officially, there are more than 600 children among Russian victims.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected Donald Trump’s comparison that Ukraine and Russia are “acting like children.”

“We are not children with Putin on a playground in a park. He is a murderer who came to this park to kill children,” the Ukrainian leader noted in an interview for ABC News , commenting on Trump’s statement.

Zelensky added that Trump’s statement shows that the head of the White House does not understand the scale of the tragedy that the Ukrainian people are experiencing. Zelensky described the “boundless” pain of a Ukrainian father who lost his wife and three children in a missile strike.

“He simply said: ‘Every morning when I wake up, I look for my family – I look everywhere in the apartment… I still feel like it was a nightmare… a bad dream,'” Zelensky shared.

Trump “could not fully feel and understand this pain,” the president noted. He recalled that 631 Ukrainian children died in the war.

“And it’s not about President Trump, it’s about any person who is not here in the country, thousands of miles away, they can’t fully feel and understand this pain,” he said.
