- Russia is short of Tu-95 strategic bombers after Operation Spider Web, which damaged 41 aircraft at four airfields.
- Tu-95 aircraft have problems when transporting large numbers of missiles, which makes it difficult to recover and continue using them.
- The restoration of damaged aircraft is unlikely given Russia’s resources.
It has become known that Russia is short of Tu-95 aircraft after Operation Web. For the first time in a year, the Russians have almost fully loaded their strategic bombers for a massive attack.
Such actions confirm that the Russians do not have many Tu-95 aircraft left. As aviation expert Konstantin Kryvolap noted to Channel 24, there have been no more than 18 aircraft in the European part of the country recently.
The outlook is not optimistic.
If we assume that out of 25-30 aircraft, at least 7-9 have now been destroyed, then this is 30% of the total number. The problem with the Tu-95 is that they are not designed to carry 8 Kh-101 missiles. After such flights, it is necessary to carefully check whether the cracks that appear due to the load have not increased.
Once the invaders tried to take 2-4 missiles, but when they take 6-8, the wing simply cracks. This indicates that the resource will run out very quickly. There are also no prospects for the restoration of these aircraft in Russia.
“Understanding what the plane is and what damage was done, we can say that it will not be done in six months (recovery – Channel 24). A year or two, but I’m still not sure that with the capabilities the Russians have, that even this is realistic,” added Konstantin Kryvolap.
As a reminder, as a result of Operation “Web”, 41 Russian aircraft were hit at four airfields. These are airfields from which the occupiers constantly launched their missiles. It is known that the ships were attacked from drones that were transported to Russia in advance.
After the successful attack, the Russians began to hide their planes even more. Some of them were transferred to the air base in Anadyr. Trucks with drones will definitely not reach there, because there is no road connection to the base. Interestingly, it is located more than 6 thousand kilometers from Ukraine and 500 kilometers from the United States.

Would you bet your house against Ukraine finding a way to destroy more of putler’s planes? When it comes to ingenuity, Ukraine outsmarts every military in the world.
Right! And, I don’t think that the next strike will mirror the last one. That would make it too easy for the cockroaches.
Restore bombers? Look at that photo. It belongs in the scrap yard, not a repair hanger…
The idea to restore them is meant to fool the millions of fools in mafia land who never question the bullshit the regime feeds them.
