The spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Serhiy Bratchuk, predicted that the finale of the strategic multi-stage operation to isolate the temporarily occupied Crimea from Russia will be the liberation of the Ukrainian peninsula. He noted that the enemy has no time to relax today.
Ukrainian attacks on energy resources and facilities in Crimea are not aimed at civilians, but at the Russian military. Bratchuk said this on the FREEDOM TV channel.
“In many areas there is no electricity, no water. It’s not just about civilians, it’s also about the military. After all, attacks on energy resources, on energy facilities in temporarily occupied Crimea are not about civilians, they’re about the military. Russia itself has admitted that Crimea is an “unsinkable aircraft carrier,” it’s a militarized base that today supports the Russian front, in particular the Southern Operational Zone,” he noted.
The purpose of the Ukrainian attacks
According to Bratchuk, our strikes on such objects should slow down the functioning of the enemy’s air defense systems and its radio reconnaissance systems.
“These military industries are very energy-intensive, they require a lot of electricity. Generators alone, as they say, cannot handle it. On the other hand, to run a generator, you need diesel fuel or gasoline. And this is also a problem in Crimea today,” the spokesman explained.
On June 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky approved a special 40-day operation by the Security Service of Ukraine aimed at increasing military pressure on Russia to force an end to the war. The campaign involves large-scale strikes on key targets, including in Crimea. The 40 days formally end in early August.
“But if the occupiers hoped that 40 days would pass and the SBU would stop the attacks on Crimea, they were wrong. Because there will be a 41st, 42nd, and 43rd day, and so on until the invaders are completely expelled. Therefore, the attacks on Crimea will also continue,” Bratchuk noted.
What is the current situation in Crimea?
A spokesman for the UDA reported that Ukraine’s damage to more than five large electrical substations caused widespread outages and destabilization of Crimea’s entire internal power system.
“For example, Dzhankoy is a key logistics, transport, and railway hub. There is no electricity or water there today. The situation is the same in western Crimea, in the eastern part of the peninsula, on the southern coast. Everyone is well aware of the footage of how today in Yalta (which has always flourished while part of Ukraine and will flourish when it returns) electric stoves for cooking are being connected to generators,” he gave examples.
The residents of Crimea are in a really difficult situation with resources – fuel, electricity, water. The reason for this is that they are being redirected to support the Russian army.
“Today, everything most important is given to the occupiers. But again, how much of this will be enough? After all, the operation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Crimea continues, as does the logistical blockade,” said Bratchuk.
As OBOZ.UA reported, Serhiy Bratchuk previously said that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are working on implementing tasks to isolate temporarily occupied Crimea. One of the key goals is to force the occupiers to make a “gesture of goodwill. “

Russia itself has admitted that Crimea is an “unsinkable aircraft carrier,” it’s a militarized base that today supports the Russian front, in particular the Southern Operational Zone,”
Crimea now resembles the Admiral Rustbucket. Completely destroyed and going the same way as their only aircraft carrier.
Got a message today from a friend who live in Crimea. He told me things are quite tough there.
Yeah, I can imagine. I can also imagine that putler doesn’t give a rats arse about protecting Russians there.
No, he doesn’t care. He cares only about how much military material can be shipped through the peninsula and how it can be used to kill Ukrainians.
