Ukrainian drones are attacking the port in occupied Berdyansk , said Mariupol city mayor’s adviser Petro Andryushchenko.

“Berdyansk. Our drones have been attacking Berdyansk since six in the morning. The main attack is in the port area. Smoke from a large fire is visible over the port. A large number of ambulances and firefighters,” Andryushchenko wrote on Telegram.

In addition, he writes, the local occupation administration not only acknowledged the hit for the first time, but also reported an attack on the administration building itself in the city.

According to Andryushchenko, in some areas the power supply has disappeared, and the work of official budgetary bodies has been cancelled.

“Finally, good morning from the occupation,” he added emotionally.

On air at “Espresso”, Deputy Chairman of the Berdyansk District Council Viktor Dudukalov said that there were at least six “arrivals” in the city. According to him, since 6:00 in Berdyansk there has been a very tense situation with enemy air defense.

“No less than 6 arrivals have been counted, mainly in the port area. Smoke, ambulances, certain streets in the city center on the approach to the port have been closed. The occupiers report that everything is fine, everything is under control, but for some reason they decided to make today a day off and call on everyone to stay home, because everything is under control accordingly,” the official said.

The occupation authorities of Berdyansk report that there was a massive attack on the port, “presumably using kamikaze drones.” It is said that there are casualties, and a decision has been made “for the duration of the continuing threat” to stop the work of social institutions, etc.
