Ukrainian servicemen continue to restrain attacks by Russian troops on various sections of the front. As a result of counterattacks, the Defense Forces managed to advance in the Torets direction.

Putin’s army, in turn, advanced in the Pokrovsky direction, according to an analysis by the Institute for the Study of War.

Ukrainian forces counterattacked in the direction of Toretsk. Geolocated footage published on March 14 shows the Defense Forces advancing along Mykhailo Hrushevsky Street in northern Toretsk. At the same time, Russian forces attacked near Toretsk itself, northeast of Toretsk in the Dachny and Druzhba areas, and southwest of Toretsk in the Sukhoi Balka area.

In the Pokrovskoye direction, the Russians advanced along Tsentralnaya Street in Pishchane and Lysohirska Street to Shevchenko (south of Pokrovskoye). Russian propagandists claim that the occupiers advanced south of Yaseniv (southwest of Pokrovskoye) in a section up to 3.1 km wide and up to 1.5 km deep.

Another Russian propagandist stated that Ukrainian troops have advanced south of Shevchenko and strengthened their positions, while Russian troops are trying to regain control of the settlement. In general, the aggressor complains that the fighting in the Pokrovsky direction is characterized by Ukrainian counterattacks.

In Zaporizhia, the occupiers advanced on the outskirts of Shcherbaky and Maly Shcherbaky (northwest of Robotyne). The occupiers also announced the day before that units of the Russian 247th Airborne Regiment had captured Pyatikhatky (west of Shcherbaky) and were advancing towards Stepovoye (north of Pyatikhatky) and Kamyanske (northwest of Pyatikhatky).

Geolocated footage from the Kramatorsk direction, published on March 10, indicates that Russian forces have recently advanced into the northern part of Chasovoye Yar. On March 14 and 15, Putin’s army attacked near Chasovoye Yar itself, northeast of Chasovoye Yar in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area, south of Chasovoye Yar in the Stupochok area, and southeast of Chasovoye Yar in the Kurdyumivka area.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces pushed the Russian army back from the Pokrovsk-Konstantynivka highway . The situation in this area improved due to increased counterattacks by the Ukrainian defenders.

It was previously reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been successfully restraining the enemy’s offensive actions in the Pokrovsk direction for over two months. Despite constant assaults, the Russian occupiers have not managed to achieve significant advances.
