Gen. Shirreff is like many other military/political experts who know what needs to be done to handle this war better, more effectively and decisively. Why are hardly any on active duty or in political positions to make a difference?
It was Sir Richard who did a convincing presentation about his ideas to win. He said he needed €80 billion/year to get it done. If the EU had bankrolled him, I’ve no doubt that the Ukrainians’ position would now be a lot stronger.
There are numerous people who could’ve done a far better job handling this war. Unfortunately, none are in any positions to do so. What we have is pure weakness and cowardice. And in the WH, treasonous poisonous snakes.
