Ukraine will receive only 10% of the need for protection from KABs, – Zelensky (video)

According to the president, protection against Russian guided bombs must be combined.

To combat Russian guided aerial bombs (KABs), Ukraine plans to use combined protection. President Vladimir Zelensky spoke about this in an interview with the telethon.

According to him, Ukraine is now developing its own weapons to fight against KABs.

“I won’t say which one yet. Another direction is fighters… Why did I say “combined” – both airplanes and air defense. Because we don’t have enough airplanes. Apart from those that we have, what we “As of today, our partners are ready to give this year, it is, I can say, 10% of the required amount,” the head of state said.

He emphasized that the situation should be significantly improved by the F-16s, which our Air Force will soon receive, although their number will be insufficient for complete protection against KABs.

“If you fight, then fight and win, and not just, you know, “we have the F-16.” No, this is not enough. Therefore, this is only 10% of the composition of our modern air fleet, which is enough to independently defeat that the number of Russian aircraft that operate in Ukraine. We know exactly how many they hit us with, how many they use, we need the appropriate amount. And we understand that there will be 10% this year. That’s why I said “combined” – it won’t be enough aircraft for now. Both aircraft and air defense,” Zelensky noted.

Other statements from the president’s interview

Due to a lack of air defense, Ukraine is forced to choose which city to defend . President Vladimir Zelensky spoke about this in an interview with the telethon. He noted that today the intensity of Russian shelling is quite high, but “we must think about what will happen tomorrow.”

As the head of state said, the same intensity could continue tomorrow, “and we will miss it if they hit every day like they did for the last month.”s

Zelensky also spoke about how they plan to stop the enemy in connection with the mobilization of 300 thousand personnel in Russia before June 1. According to the president, it cannot be said that this figure will be final.

The head of state emphasized that the Russians will need about a month to have such a volume of people, and since “they don’t have much discipline, they may not have time to mobilize such a number before June 1.”

  1. It would take a decade to upgrade Ukraine’s military to be on par with RuSSia, including nuclear hypersonic missiles. Ten years since the invasion went by and Ukraine received zero to nothing.

  2. Meanwhile, RuSSian troops don’t get what they need, neither:
“Russia Puts On Song And Dance For New Tanks, But What’s Behind The Curtain?”
Highlight: “In 2018 they shut down the last open-hearth furnace, a type needed to make high-grade specialty steel. Ukrainian sources claim Russia is no longer able to manufacture equipment requiring high-strength steel which includes crucial items like artillery receivers and barrels.”
Possibly one reason why Putin so urgently wants to take over Ukraine. There are the steelworks he needs!
