Ukraine already has its own missiles similar to Taurus, – Fedorov

At the same time, he emphasized that our country is interested in such weapons and is open to having more of them.

The Defense Forces currently have missiles that are similar in characteristics to the German Taurus. This was stated by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov during a press conference following a meeting with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, Ukrinform reports .

“If we talk about Taurus, of course, we already have missiles that operate at similar and longer ranges, but there can never be a shortage of such weapons. Therefore, of course, Ukraine is always open to having more weapons, but in fact, today we are already gaining a certain independence in this direction,” he said.

In particular, Fedorov recalled the strikes on Russia at a distance of 1,500 km.
