Thanks to Trump’s efforts, Russia will retain the occupied territories and will be relieved of some sanctions.

In the eyes of the world, Russia will look like a winner in the war if, after the conclusion of peace, it not only retains the captured Ukrainian territories, but also gets rid of some sanctions and improves relations with the United States. This opinion was voiced by British military expert Michael Clarke in a commentary to Sky News .

Commenting on Trump’s statement about the division of Ukrainian territories, he noted that Europe will never recognize the occupied Ukrainian lands as a sovereign part of Russia, even if Washington agrees to this.

“They will never admit it because it’s completely illegal,” Clark says.

But at the same time, the British expert believes that the diplomatic course that the Trump administration has taken towards Russia makes Putin a winner in the eyes of the rest of the world.

“If he gets a partial lifting of US sanctions and a strategic partnership with Washington, which is what the Trump administration seems to want, then the rest of the world, which has been waiting to see what happens in Ukraine since the beginning of this war, will sit back and say Putin has won,” Clarke said.

According to the analyst, in such a situation, the West will no longer be trusted as a political force in the eyes of the world.

  1. “According to the analyst, in such a situation, the West will no longer be trusted as a political force in the eyes of the world.”

Wrong! The US will no longer be trusted as an ally. Trump is on a one-way mission to destroy everything he touches. The US will never be able to undo the damage caused by Trump and Musk, but I believe this will make Europe stronger, and when mafia land eventually turn on Trump, the US will be alone in the world.

  2. The head of national intelligence also noted that the United States has “the best negotiators working with both the Ukrainians and Russia.”

They just do tomorrow, what Putin tells them to do.

  3. Trump does not want peace as such, he wants the Noble price for peace.
If this means agree on all Putins demands, he will do that………………..

But has nothing to do with peace.
