Thus, this year Ukraine will receive 7 billion euros from Germany.

Germany has made a “historic” decision to increase aid to Ukraine by 3 billion euros in 2025. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced this ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels.
“It is also important that, in addition to the investments in security and infrastructure provided for in the Basic Law, we are finally allocating another €3 billion to support Ukraine in 2025. This means that Germany will continue to provide Ukraine with €7 billion, as it did last year,” she said.
She noted that on Tuesday, March 18, an amendment will be made to the German constitution that will allow for a significant increase in debt to finance defense and “will provide greater support to Ukraine.”
“This is a powerful signal that Germany takes its own security, the security of Ukraine and the security of Europe seriously… Our contribution to European peace, which we will make public in a historic decision tomorrow in the German Bundestag, is something that has never been done before on such a scale,” Baerbock emphasized.
Let us recall that even before the parliamentary elections in Germany, the possibility of allocating 3 billion euros for Ukraine was discussed. However, then Chancellor Olaf Scholz removed this issue from the agenda.
