Trump’s demand for ownership of Greenland has thrown NATO into its deepest crisis ever. In this video, I discuss why Trump wants Greenland and why he has set himself up for failure with a demand for something he can’t have. There are only two possible ways forward: either Trump gives up, or he goes through with a military invasion. I also discuss how Europe should react to Trump’s pressure.
Europe can destroy the TACO rhetoric by destroying mafia land. Also they can stand up to any tariffs by mirroring them straight back at the US, or even increase them. The EU is not a weak economy, or TACO wouldn’t be scared of them.
