Power engineers are working to restore power despite the freezing temperatures.

Emergency power outages continue in Kyiv , water supply is disrupted, and half of residential buildings are without heat. This was reported by Yasno CEO Serhiy Kovalenko on Facebook.

“Emergency power outages continue in Kyiv. There are no schedules. Following the shelling, 173,000 customers are currently without power in addition to the emergency ones. City authorities are also reporting water supply disruptions on the Left Bank. About half of the city’s housing stock is currently without heat,” the statement reads.

According to Kovalenko, power engineers are working to restore power despite the freezing temperatures.

“When your power comes back on, don’t plug in all your electrical appliances at once, as this could cause a breakdown that will take significantly longer to repair,” Yasno’s CEO urged Ukrainians.
