Trump believes that he deserves the Nobel Prize for resolving conflicts in the world.
Donald Trump said it would be a “great insult” to the United States if he did not receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his diplomatic work. The American president said this during a speech in Quantico, Virginia, to a group of senior military personnel, The Hill reports.
“I’ve helped end seven conflicts, and if the Gaza plan works, it’ll be eight. Eight in eight months – no one has ever done that,” Trump stressed.
He also expressed skepticism about the work of the Nobel Committee:
“Will you get the Nobel Prize? Absolutely not. They’ll give it to some guy who didn’t do anything. Maybe a writer who wrote a book about Donald Trump.”
