At the same time, the American president noted that he is not going to return Russia to the format, at least not yet.
US President Donald Trump said the decision to expel Russia from the group of the world’s leading democracies was a mistake. In his opinion, Moscow’s return to the G8 format could change the course of history, but he himself would not insist on it, the Associated Press writes .

The G7, which existed as the G8 until 2014, expelled Russia after the annexation of Crimea. Asked by reporters whether he wanted to bring Russia back into the group when the United States hosts the summit in 2027, Trump recalled that then-President Barack Obama was among those who initiated the expulsion.
According to him, such a decision was “very stupid” and may even have had serious consequences.
“Millions of people may die because of this,” he added, referring to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
However, Trump stated that he does not currently consider it appropriate to return Russia to the G7:
“No, this is not the best time.”

I am not more interested in Krasnovs opinions……………….
Is it only me who thinks this, or is it true that whenever this convicted felon opens his oversized oral cavity, only sewage comes out?
August 2016;
“He’s not going into Ukraine, OK, just so you understand. He’s not going to go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down. You can put it down. You can take it anywhere you want,” Trump said in an interview on Sunday with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week.”
“Well, he’s already there, isn’t he?” Stephanopoulos responded, in a reference to Crimea, which Putin took from Ukraine in early 2014.
Trump said: “OK – well, he’s there in a certain way. But I’m not there. You have Obama there. And frankly, that whole part of the world is a mess under Obama with all the strength that you’re talking about and all of the power of NATO and all of this. In the meantime, he’s going away. He takes Crimea.”

Krasnov was a halfwitted putler-rimming turd then and he still is now.
I swear, his grammar is no better than that of a junior high school kid. His understanding of history, geopolitics, and basic statesmanship are no better.
