Solomiya Khoma studies Russian hybrid warfare and strategic information influence. Her recent work has focused on attempts to damage Ukraine’s defence capacity through “non-linear” methods, including the weaponisation of peace negotiations, attacks on mobilisation, efforts to redirect anger over energy disruption against the Ukrainian state, and the radicalisation of anti-recruitment narratives into calls for arson and violence. She has also presented research on Russia’s strategic goals in social media and the mechanics through which disinformation affects public behaviour.
