My heart is breaking. This has to stop. My family in L’Viv is going through this. My Tato (father) survived the horror under Russian tyranny – now here it is again. Leaving Ukraine alone to fight all our war is unacceptable.

It’s a simple case of hypocrisy from western/allied leaders. They dont want to defend Ukraine from attack through fear of escalation yet defend & supply Israel to the hilt.
The simple fact is that western/allied leaders expected Ukraine to fall like a pack of cards within days of being invaded……..they thought ukraine doesn’t really matter because many ukrainians speak russian language so everything will be ok, they’ll integrate then when the dust has settled we’ll build a massive “Iron Curtain” even bigger than before ussr days & we’ll revert to the cold war again.
They didnt bargain for the patriotism resilience bravery & fighting spirit of the ukrainian armed forces & now it’s a big dilemma for them because they see & know that with the right amount & with the right supplies that ukraine can & will defeat russia & russia’s defeat is a big problem for them so really…..western/allied leaders dont want ukraine to succeed because they fear the break up of the russian federation. western/allied leaders need to wake up….and fast because ukrainians just will not give up & will never lay down their arms & i support that 100%.

Jaanika Merilo, the west offers platitudes meant to placate Ukraine while we try to find our balls. We are worried about what Russia might do, oh dear how unnerving. Just to put this into perspective, Ukraine is or was before the Russians started this, the breadbasket of Europe, remember that as the global climate goes through changes that are already impacting agriculture around the world. Cripple Ukraine’s agriculture and you have control over food resources over many countries. Russian money has done incredible amount of damage in the American political arena. Many have said wait until November to see what will happen. Well I am sure that is reassuring to Ukraine or what is left of it.

Zelensky’s sentence is clear. This aid is vital for the survival of Ukraine and is no longer even considered for retaking territories. The survival of millions of individuals, of children who want to have a future! The urgency of voting for this aid should strike the human conscience of every elected official on Capitol Hill with the force of a hammer!
Except for certain sick brains in Congress already too damaged by the Soviet hammers.
Let’s remember that Biden used his executive power to send Ukraine spareparts for the very much outdated Hawk batteries, instead of urgently needed Patriot missiles. And to add insult to injury, the pricetag for the components, which aren’t in use in the US anymore and were only gathering dust in the warehouses, had been set at an outrageous 138 million dollars! Even worse, the AFU’s technicians have to repair the systems themselves, which apparently both Spain and the US had been unable to do. Under these circumstances, it must have taken Zelenskyy huge restraint not to tell Biden that he can take such “support” and shove it! 👿
