We are talking about places at the military airfield and nearby.

On the night of April 17, it seemed that it was really hot in the territory of occupied Crimea. The satellite showed six flames, recording fire at the military airfield in Dzhankoy and near it. Previously, the Russian Federation deployed additional air defense installations there .

The Crimean Wind monitoring group reports this , publishing the corresponding frame with red marks. It is noted that the condition of the airfield was recorded by the VIIRS/Suomi NPP satellite.

“The VIIRS/Suomi NPP satellite recorded six sources of powerful fires at the Russian military airfield in Dzhankoy. The time of the image was 03.41 Moscow time,” the project emphasizes.

They recalled that Russia kept a number of attack helicopters at this airfield. Also, it was from this site that S-300/S-400 launchers were previously recorded.

  1. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, and where there’s fire, there must be flammable stuff. Like aviation fuel. Looks like a successful strike! 😎👍

      • Yeah, I saw that, thanks, Foccusser! Huge explosions, this doesn’t look like merely some helicopters blowing up. May have really been a hit on a missile depot! Excellent!
        😁👍
