On February 18, negotiations between Russian and American delegations took place in Riyadh . Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman wanted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to attend, but the US and Russia insisted on the meeting without Ukrainian representatives.
Bloomberg reports this, citing sources. The source noted that the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia plans to inform Zelensky about the kingdom’s role in convening the talks, as well as about discussions with Russian and American officials.
