Earlier, IKEA finally left Russia, selling its last asset.
IKEA stores are planned to open in Ukraine in 2025 – the specific date will be officially announced later. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the operational director of the Lavina Mall and Blockbuster Mall, Dmitry Lashin.

“There is very encouraging information that this will definitely happen this year,” the publication quotes him as saying.
Lashin noted that there are two scenarios. If the fighting stops, then the stores will open very quickly. If the fighting continues, then it will take “a little more time.”
“Physically, they are already ready,” added the operating director of Lavina Mall and Blockbuster Mall.
It is also reported that the retailer carries out physical renovation activities every day. This includes cleaning, repairs, replacing signs, removing old goods, and the like.
