He’s got a point. Ukraine hasn’t banned a Christian church. It banned an arm of the muscovy mafia gang.
I’ve been busy with volunteering my time and effort for church Sunday morning. I started writing this, and then had to attend to other things.
Remember, Musk has also provided internet connections for Ukraine, including for much of the military.
I speculate about this other point, but if not for Musk’s resistance against putin’s demands, independently free-thinking russians and others stuck on the other may be forced to rely on moscow’s propaganda. Until russia’s news agencies can finally shake themselves of putin’s iron grip, it may be because of people like Elon Musk to provide channels like this blog, to present the truth without putin’s lies.
He may be atheist, but I believe Musk is doing God’s will, in dispelling moscow’s falsehoods. Independent free will seems extremely important to him, and obviously Ukraine for the most part, does not want to be subject to moscow’s whims. He is using Twitter (now X) to help Ukrainians present their side of the fight, and thus present an honest dispute against russia. When someone is doing something good or evil, to promote good over the evil, the true nature of it must be recognized. Through this, God may even transform the heart and bring good from out of evil.
Yeah, no. Musk might’ve helped out Ukraine in the beginning at the request of someone on Twitter, but he quickly did a 180. First, he began demanding payment. Then he interfered with the assault on Crimea (which forced the Pentagon to arrange a contract where he couldn’t interfere). And then Musk suddenly switched to spouting Kremlin talking points to oppose aid to Ukraine. Now, it’s come to light that two Russian oligarchs in Putin’s inner circle (among other unsavory figures) helped Musk purchase Twitter. Since his takeover, he’s presided over a new Twitter that increasingly amplifies and invites pro-Russia voices (including countless bots and sock puppets that spew untruths) and silences pro-Ukraine voices. His latest unsurprising move is to actively support Trump, who orchestrated the blocking of Ukraine aid in the House. Connect the dots. Musk is no friend of Ukraine.
