After the arrest of the founder of Telegram, French intelligence services announced that they would seek access to correspondence in the messenger.

Employees of some Russian security agencies have been ordered to delete official correspondence on Telegram , the Russian Telegram channel “Baza” reports, citing its sources.

According to the channel, officials of the presidential administration and the government of the Russian Federation also received such an order. In addition, according to sources, high-ranking officials of the Russian Defense Ministry and a number of businessmen received the same order.

“At the same time, some of the officials interviewed by Baza said that they had not received any instructions to delete the correspondence. However, they expect such instructions from their superiors as early as next Monday or Tuesday,” the report added.Video of the day

It is known that after the arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Durov at the Paris airport, French media, citing a source, reported that French intelligence services will seek access to Telegram correspondence that is associated with criminal communities, as well as sanctioned companies and individuals.
