While it remains possible to have polite conversation with many – and we must – others are willingly ignorant, dark of heart, seared of conscience, and de facto enablers of abhorrent warcrimes.

Lots of pretty talk to obfuscate the obvious – Russia rapes, murders, tortures, castrates, executes, steals, lies, kidnaps, targets civilians as standard operating procedure. Their mission is the eradication of the identity and sovereignty of an independent people. The legal word for this is genocide. They will never stop its campaign of genocide – Not until Russia is defeated and brought to justice.

Those who want to use this social platform to advance fantasies may do so. But such individuals are like the butcher, baker and candlestick-maker living down the street from the local Waffen-SS concentration camps in 1943, ignoring the obvious and focusing on the irrelevant and the absurd. I invite them to take their eyes of their parties and podcasts. Smell the horror of the smoke in the air. Look into the eyes of my widowed sisters and childless mothers who will carry grief always because of the armchair appeasement of such men.

The White House’s unilateral decision to suspend congressionally approved aide to Ukraine is unlawful and must be challenged.

This week’s announcement by the Trump White House that it had unilaterally decided to cancel congressionally approved military aid to Ukraine is more than a political maneuver, it’s a direct violation of U.S. law. It is an action that presumes the cognitive impairment of the public by demanding that Americans accept two contradictory propositions –

1. The United States is in the most heightened state of military readiness ever, but
2. Our supply issues are so low that it requires the recognition of a state of emergency under the Impoundment Control Act (ICA) of 1974 – an emergency so grave, that it is equivalent to imminent nuclear war.

Note – If this same stunt had been attempted by a Democratic President, Republicans would be screaming bloody murder.
