City water, but still have filters on the lines, and have looked into other options in case of shtf.
I know some people who had wells drilled. But this is not possible everywhere, at least from a financial standpoint.

Ah … those dubious permits.
On a side note, recently had my sewer line replaced, and was without running water for three days. Guess that experience brought it back to the forefront of my attention.
