The Ukrainian Defense Forces launched strikes on a number of important facilities related to Russia’s military and energy infrastructure on the night of July 26. The strikes targeted targets in occupied Crimea, as well as facilities in eastern Ukraine.

Separately, the damage to the oil refinery in Tyumen was confirmed. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Attack on Chornomornaftogaz in Crimea and destruction of drone relay

The General Staff reported that the Chornomornaftogaz facility in the Vnukovo area of occupied Crimea was hit. A hit on target was recorded.

After occupying the peninsula, Russia uses these facilities for the production, storage, and transportation of gas and oil products, as well as to meet the needs of its troops in Crimea.

The Ukrainian military also struck a ground relay used to control Geran and Gerber attack drones in the Chornomorske area.

Such systems allow for increased range and stability of control of drones that Russia uses for attacks on Ukraine.

In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a road bridge in the Vyselki area of the Donetsk region, which Russian troops were using for logistics.

The drone depot in the Chervonpopivka area and the personnel concentration site in Purdivka in the Luhansk region were also hit.

“The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically implement measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation,” the General Staff added.
