Former teacher of Kiev Drahomanov University Evgenia Bilchenko showed a photo from a wedding in St. Petersburg and spoke about her readiness to die for the Russian world with her husband.

The professor, who has been living in Russia for more than six months, got married the day before. The poet Arkady Veselov became her chosen one. The wedding ceremony took place in St. Petersburg, where the couple lives.

Here is what Bilchenko said about the chosen one:

” I have a favorite episode. One of our last. We confessed to each other that we were ready to die for the Russian world. Right on the street. I never wrote about it and now I don’t intend to in detail.”

Bilchenko is going to get citizenship of the Russian Federation and has already received a document confirming her knowledge of the Russian language 

“I received a certificate in Russian language, legislation and history of Russia with round fives, but I know why. I prepared very hard, I wanted to know Russian history by heart, the best of all. And the law too. I have thirty pages of manuscripts, at least open the course, but there is no one to read,” says a former teacher at a Kiev university. 

Commenting on these events, Bilchenko compared herself toUkrainian TV presenter Snezhana Yegorova, who on the eve shocked with scandalous statements that she supports Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“I’m not Snezhana Egorova, I’m different. And don’t tell me that this world (the Russian world – UNIAN) is Imaginary, an ideology… It’s, fuck, what a Real. Symbolic and Real. Like love, cosmic and poetic. Clueless. Any,” writes Bilchenko. 

Bilchenko’s scandalous statements – how it all began

Cultural studies teacher Evgenia Bilchenko  called Ukraine an American colony  and criticized the language law. Language Ombudsman Taras Kremin said that the SBU should pay attention to her statements. Also, the Ministry of Education and Science reacted to the words of the teacher.

Soon, the participant in the scandal at the Drahomanov University was  suspended from classes . The Academic Council also  liquidated the Department of  Cultural Studies and Philosophical Anthropology of Evgeniya Bilchenko.

After the dismissal, the teacher moved to the Russian Federation. Almost immediately after that, she began to complain. There, Bilchenko  became “non-handshaking”  and forced to “freelance around the clock.”
