The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ordered in Odessa the reconstruction of the building of the educational building for almost 100 million hryvnias.

Repairs and reconstruction should be carried out in the educational building №2 according to the master plan for the headquarters, located in Odessa at 14 Fontanskaya Street.

The auction will be held on January 31, 2022 on the official platform of the electronic public procurement system of Ukraine  ProZorro .

According to the tender documentation, the contractor has to fulfill the terms of reference for the repair of 545 points. Also, the contractor must purchase and install equipment in the amount of 233 units.

At the request of the Navy, the work must be completed by the contractor by December 15, 2023.

The expected cost for the entire renovation of the educational building is 97,754,611 hryvnias with value added tax.

Since 2014, the Command and Headquarters of the Navy have occupied the headquarters of the Operational Command “South” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located in the quarter between Kanatna and Mariinska.

The houses on Fontanskaya Road in Odesa have been under repair for several years now – they plan to house the Navy headquarters.

About UAH 150 million was allocated for these purposes in 2016, but the works began to lag behind the plans for 2017.

In 2021, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was looking for a contractor for the reconstruction of the educational building №3, then all proposals were rejected.

These facilities are the old buildings of the Higher United Command and Engineering School, which was disbanded in 1993 and later reorganized into the rear faculty of the Odessa Institute of Land Forces, which in 2016 was transferred to the headquarters of the Ukrainian Navy Command.
