Russians struck a high-rise building in Sumy with KABs: two people were killed, and there were wounded.

Employees of the Sumy City Council were killed.

Russian forces struck Sumy with 6-7 guided aerial bombs. Two people were killed when a KAB struck a multi-story building, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported .

A Russian air strike struck between the third and fourth floors of the building. Rescuers have already pulled four people, including a child, from the rubble.

Seven people are also known to have been injured, including a 13-year-old girl. Three people are in serious condition. Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar reported that the victims in Sumy were employees of the Sumy City Council.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also responded to this attack .

“All services are currently working at the site of the absolutely brutal Russian attack on a multi-story residential building in Sumy. The aerial bomb landed directly between the third and fourth floors. Four people, including a child, have already been rescued from the rubble. Unfortunately, two people have died. My condolences to all the families and friends. There may still be people under the rubble,” he said.

According to him, in the evening, Russian forces also attacked a clinic in Pavlograd and logistics facilities in the Kyiv region.

“Ukraine speaks daily about the need to stop such brutal attacks that threaten human lives. Right now, America has a chance to send the right signal to the aggressor that fair pressure will continue and the war must end. We hope that Lindsey Graham’s bill will ultimately become law, and its leverage will help force Russia to choose peace,” Zelenskyy added.
