Poland has joined the Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition, which aims to create a common European ballistic missile defense system.

This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Censor.NET reports.

“We are in the Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition,” he wrote.

According to Tusk , during the Carpathian Initiative summit, he discussed the format of this cooperation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Do you remember the important debates about whether Poland should be in the Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition, why it is still not in the group of states and enterprises – both Ukrainian and European – that will work together to strengthen defense against ballistic missiles? Well, from today, Poland is part of this major project,” the Polish Prime Minister said.

What preceded

Recall that in July 2026, Ukraine and 9 other European states officially announced the beginning of the creation of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition . It includes Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.   1. Rediculous, but, better late than never. Im kind of ashamed for a country of my heritage ( Poland, Lithuwainia, my grandfather stowed away as a teen on a coal ship to escape WWI). Youd think after the USSR put the entire counrty in poverty, theyd have woken up with all the Russian imperial shenanagans… but it took 4 years of Ukraine taking it up the a$$ before stepping up.
