On the night of March 6, Russians destroyed a Nova Poshta terminal in Sumy in a drone attack . One employee of the contractor company died. More than 2,500 parcels that were on the terminal’s territory burned. This was reported by the company’s press service on its Telegram channel .

“At night, the Russians attacked the city with drones: the terminal of “Nova Poshta” was destroyed. Unfortunately, an employee of the contractor company died. Two enemy kamikaze drones hit the warehouse premises, a large-scale fire broke out,” the report says.
It is noted that 2576 parcels that were on the territory of the terminal burned. The declared value of the lost shipments is more than UAH 3.3 million. The company will contact customers to pay compensation.
Nova Poshta added that they are quickly reorganizing parcel sorting and logistics, but delays in shipments from Sumy and to the city from all regions of Ukraine are possible.
Attacks on Nova Poshta branches
On March 5, the Russian army launched a massive drone strike on Odessa and its suburbs late in the evening, destroying one of the Nova Poshta branches. Then, the occupiers turned more than 600 parcels with a total declared value of over UAH 1 million into ashes.
It was also reported that the occupiers struck a Nova Poshta branch in the Donetsk region, resulting in the death of two people and the injury of another person.
