Such a move could potentially put Ukrainians on the path to accelerated deportation.

The administration of US President  Donald Trump will revoke temporary legal status for about 240,000 Ukrainians who fled the war in Ukraine.

This was reported by Reuters  , citing a senior official in the Trump administration. Such a move could potentially put Ukrainian citizens on the path to accelerated deportation from the United States.

The publication noted that the measure, scheduled to be introduced in April, would be a stunning departure from the hospitality Ukrainians have received under the administration of President Joe Biden.

The source said the move to end protections for Ukrainians was planned before Trump publicly clashed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House. The official explained that it was part of a broader Trump administration effort to strip the legal status of more than 1.8 million migrants who were allowed to enter the U.S. under temporary humanitarian programs launched under the Biden administration.

The publication reported that migrants who lack legal status could face accelerated deportation procedures.

The humanitarian programs launched under Biden were part of an effort to create temporary legal pathways to curb illegal immigration and provide humanitarian aid.

In addition to 240,000 Ukrainians fleeing Russian attacks and 530,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans, these programs reached more than 70,000 Afghans fleeing the Taliban.

  1. What did America vote for? Deportation of 240.000 Ukrainians from America will start in April.

  2. Anybody ever noticed how fat and ugly Americans are? They are filthy garbage. It’s the ugly chicks and their daddies who voted this fat cockroach into the White House.
