That is the strategy.

Every time Donald Trump says that it may be better to let Ukraine and Russia “fight for a while,” I imagine another Kyiv apartment building hit by a missile. I see people standing next to the ruins, shattered by grief, waiting for rescuers to pull their loved ones from under the debris — most of them already gone.
That’s exactly what happened again this morning. In the neighborhood where I live, there was also a direct strike — people were killed 💔
Kyiv endured one of the longest attacks yet — more than seven hours. Dozens of strikes across the city, including energy infrastructure. Russia deliberately fired ballistic missiles and drones at civilians — to kill them in their beds or, if they survive, to leave them freezing without light or heat. That is the strategy.
And Putin has the weapons to do it. This is the real price of all those “cheap” Russian energy resources that Moscow sold to the world for decades. Every “great deal,” every barrel of oil and every cubic meter of gas was turned into missiles, drones, and weapons of mass killing — the same weapons that have been destroying Ukraine for four years now.
I want every world leader and every businessperson who once celebrated a “profitable contract” with Russia to look at this reality honestly: murdered civilians are the other side of that profit.
Sanctions against Russia do work. Sanctions against Lukoil, for example, have already dealt a serious blow. But the tools are far from exhausted. Because unless sanctions become truly crippling, Russia will keep turning every barrel of oil into new missiles, new drones, and new deaths.
P.S. I’m proud of our people 🙏
After a night of absolute hell, they still find the strength to live: they get up in the morning, go to work, support one another. They are the ones holding this country together.
I’m on my way to work too — because it won’t do itself…

As former MI6 head Richard Moore just said in an interview: “This is a very, very winnable contest. It’s particularly important that we don‘t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.”
Giuseppe Montefalcone
Who wants Ukraine and Russia to fight more for a while are EU leaders, providing weapons and money that will never be sufficient to stop Russia – even if not loss in corruption o stealing, still insufficient – just to weaken Russia, but certainly not defeat it. The price? Money from us, lives from Ukraine.
Meanwhile other buildings will be hit in this victory of war illusion

“it may be better to let Ukraine and Russia fight for a while….”
The words of a psychopath….
