Terrorist Ihor Strelkov-Ghirkin is leaving the colony, now he will be sent to war in Ukraine, reports SHOT .

“Ghirkin’s lawyers managed to obtain the appropriate permission from all relevant departments. As a result, his imprisonment was replaced by service in the special operations zone,” the report says.

It is noted that in fact this issue has already been resolved, only “a number of formalities” remain.

At the same time, Girkin’s wife Myroslava Reginska denied this information.

“The information that Igor Strelkov leaves the colony and goes to the SVZ is not true and is a fake. The defense of Igor Ivanovich and his family do not have such information,” she wrote, adding at the same time that Girkin would really like to go to war, and not to sit in prison.

According to her, there is currently no information about the possibility of his being sent to the front, and his article does not provide for such a possibility.

Verdict of Girkin

Ihor Strelkov-Ghirkin received 4 years of general regime prison. The Russian terrorist was charged under Part 2 of Art. 280 “public appeals to extremism using the Internet” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

The basis for this was two publications of the former FSB official: the first was about the return of Crimea to Ukraine, and the second was about non-payment to the Russian military. One of these posts was recognized as extremist and charges were brought against him.

In April, Girkin asked to be sent from prison to the war in Ukraine . The wife of the terrorist Myroslav Reginska said that one of the military units stationed within the so-called “DNR” allegedly agreed to sign a contract with Girkin and appoint him to the post of platoon commander.

At the end of August, Strelkov was recognized as a fugitive , but this status was removed from him just a couple of days later, after the intervention of his lawyers.
