Among the injured is a 9-year-old girl.

Russia attacked the city of Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk region, so far it is known about one dead person, many people were injured. This was announced by the head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Serhiy Lysak. 

“Unfortunately, there is already a dead person in Pavlograd. The number of injured is increasing. There are 18 of them in the hospital now, including a 9-year-old girl,” the official said.

According to his information, several occupations took place in the city.

“An apartment was on fire in one of the high-rise buildings. Firefighters extinguished the fire and saved five people,” he added.

Earlier, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a high-speed target in the direction of Pavlograd from Donetsk region and twice in the morning called on the city’s residents to go to shelters. 

Later, Lysak informed that the number of victims had increased to 30. 

“Three of them are children. In addition to a 9-year-old girl, boys aged 11 and 4 were injured in the rocket attack on the city. Among the people who are in the hospital, two are seriously ill. Doctors are doing everything to save them,” he said.

Updated at 12:54 p.m. According to the State Emergency Service, the number of victims has increased to 40 people. 

The rescuers specified that a five-story residential building was damaged as a result of the attack.

“Firefighters extinguished the fire on an area of ​​50 square meters and rescued 5 people from the fire,” said the message of the State Emergency Service. 

Updated at 13:05 . According to the information of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it is previously known that Russia hit Pavlograd with five Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh and Rostov regions. 

It is noted that the occupiers struck the civilian infrastructure of the city around 10:00.
