Active actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are continuing in the area of the cities of Pokrovsk and Myrnograd in the Donetsk region. The defenders of our country recently received reinforcements.
This was reported on Facebook by the Group of Forces “East”. In less than a day (as of 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15), 46 Russian assaults were repelled in the area of responsibility of the units of “East”.

On this section of the front, the Russian occupation forces have suffered significant losses, and the enemy “has already deployed its entire operational reserve – an airborne division, which includes three regiments.”
“With these forces, the Russians are trying to push through our defenses, both on the flanks and directly. However, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have also recently received reinforcements, so they are successfully resisting these attempts,” the press service noted.
In the Pokrovsk direction on Monday (at 6:00 p.m.), the invaders carried out 25 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya, as well as in the directions of Hryshynye and Novopavlivka. Ukrainian soldiers had already repelled 19 attacks by that time, and the fighting continued.
The “East” military unit claims that our fighters continue to control the northern part of Pokrovsk. In the city center, they are blocking the enemy’s advance.
In Myrnograd, Ukrainian units are holding defensive lines and eliminating invaders on the approaches to the settlement.
“Logistics remain complicated. To strengthen our supply capabilities, measures are being taken to expand logistics corridors to Myrnograd,” the command added.

– Recently, near Myrnograd, soldiers of the 38th Separate Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detained several enemy groups at once, who were trying to break through the defense and gain a foothold. The prisoners turned out to be servicemen of the 5th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation .
– “Atesh” stated that tensions are growing in the Russian General Staff after the disruption of plans for the Kupyansk and Pokrovsky directions. The failure of the established deadlines caused a sharp reaction from the Russian political leadership and exacerbated internal conflicts in the military command.
So as we know, the “allies” refuse to supply ground troops or air patrols, except in the event of the mythical “peace deal.”
The very least we can do; by “we”, I mean any pro-Ukraine nation that has a professional military, is send senior officers and quartermasters to Ukraine to ask Ukrainian commanders: “what can we bring to you that will help you repel the current orc tactics; ie meat wave attacks, small scale infiltrations and mass drone attacks?”
One answer is cluster munitions, but I don’t think the Europeans have any. Another answer is mass attacks using thermite drones. Another answer is mass precision attacks by MLRS’s. Another answer is precision bombing from the air.
