Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he had read the call by American leader Donald Trump to “spare” Ukrainian servicemen in the Kursk region. He made the corresponding statement at a meeting of the Russian Security Council, reports Russian TASS.
“To effectively implement the call of the US President, a corresponding order from the military-political leadership of Ukraine to its military units to lay down their arms and surrender is necessary,” Putin said.
He added that if they surrender, Ukrainian soldiers will be guaranteed “life and decent treatment.”
