Putin reacted sharply to Rutte’s statement about the threat of NATO war with Russia

The Kremlin once again “gave a history lesson” to Western countries.

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, reacted to the words of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that the Alliance is threatened with a war with Russia “on the scale of the war that our grandfathers and great-grandfathers experienced.” He stated that European countries have forgotten the consequences of World War II. His words are quoted by Russian media.

“This is probably a statement from a representative of a generation that has managed to forget what World War II was like. Mr. Rutte lived in Holland. I studied in the Netherlands at one time. And the Dutch themselves told me about the terrible ordeal they went through during the fascist occupation, that several of their windows were broken and how terrible it was. This is quite serious. The Dutch really dislike the Germans for this discomfort, but they don’t know what a terrible war is,” Peskov said.

The press secretary of the Russian president added that Rutte makes such statements, allegedly “not understanding what he is talking about.”

“Thank God, we grew up in a country where they carefully preserve the memory of what it was, what a horror it was, and what we managed to do to save Europe from the fascists,” Peskov emphasized.

  1. “Thank God, we grew up in a country where they carefully twist the memory of what it was, what a horror we created, and what we managed to do to enslave Europe and how we became fascists,”

There, fixed that ugly prick’s statement.
