The second round of elections will take place on June 1.
Polish presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki, who advanced to the second round of the election along with Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, is ready to abandon support for Ukraine’s accession to NATO in exchange for political support from Slawomir Menzen, leader of the “Confederation”.
Navrotsky himself reported this on the social network X. The presidential candidate responded to Maetsen’s post, in which he invited Navrotsky and Trzaskowski to a conversation, where he would ask them to sign “a declaration that will meet the expectations of his voters.”

“I accept the invitation and am ready to sign those proposals. And we will discuss the rest with you on the Youtube channel. See you later,” Navrotskyi said.
As RMF.24 notes , the declaration proposed by Menzen mentions, in particular, the following:
- refusal to send Polish soldiers to the territory of Ukraine,
- refusal to sign the law on the ratification of Ukraine’s accession to NATO,
- refusal to sign and ratify new EU treaties that weaken Poland’s role.
The signatories of the declaration will also confirm that they will not agree to the transfer of any powers of the Polish authorities to the bodies of the European Union.
