Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed that the military had shot down objects that violated the country’s airspace overnight. He announced that he had called an emergency cabinet meeting over the security situation.
At the same time, he did not indicate that it was Russian drones that crossed Polish airspace.

It is noteworthy that Ukrainian monitoring channels reported that several Russian drones had flown into Polish territory.
Due to the situation, Poland closed Rzeszów Airport, as well as Lublin Airport and both Warsaw airports.
The official NOTAM notice to aviators states that the airports are closed “due to unplanned military activity within the framework of ensuring state security.”
Tusk later said that he had told NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte about the night attack on Poland.
“I informed the NATO Secretary General about the current situation and the actions we have taken against the objects that violated our airspace. We are constantly in contact,” he wrote in X.
In the morning, Tusk announced that he had called an urgent government meeting due to the security situation.
Polish government spokesman Adam Szlapka said that Prime Minister Donald Tusk will hold a meeting with ministers responsible for security and has called an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers.
