All Russian drones shot down over Poland: NATO aircraft helped

Warsaw warned of the danger of debris and urged citizens to report suspicious objects.

Poland has completed an air operation after the incursion of Russian drones. Citizens have been urged not to touch the debris of the downed objects.

As stated in a statement by the Polish Armed Forces Command on the social network X , the search and identification of the crash sites of objects that crossed the country’s airspace is ongoing.

The authorities have urged citizens not to approach, touch or move any debris of unknown objects if they are discovered, as they may pose a danger. Such finds should be reported to the emergency number 112 or the nearest police station.

The Polish Ministry of Defense thanked the Royal Netherlands Air Force and NATO forces for their support. In particular, F-35 fighters helped ensure the safety of Polish skies during the incident.

Ground-based air defense and radar control systems have returned to standard operating mode.

The Polish military states that it continues to closely monitor events in Ukraine and is fully prepared to guarantee the security of Polish airspace.
