Ukraine Strengthens Air Defense Amid Moscow Facility Fire

A massive Gazprom Neft facility that supplies fuel to the Russian capital and the Russian military has caught fire in Moscow, while the Kremlin’s air defences have once again proved powerless against the strikes.

Meanwhile, the United States and the European Union are allocating nearly $6 billion to significantly strengthen Ukraine’s air defence, providing new missiles, launchers, and advanced radars to create an impenetrable shield over Ukrainian cities.

At the same time, a breakthrough has taken place in the skies above the battlefield: Ukraine’s newest high-speed interceptor drone has, for the first time in direct combat, caught up with and destroyed the enemy’s prized weapon — a jet-powered “Geran-5” cruise missile-drone.
