The delivery of new batteries for American air defense systems will take several months

Deliveries of new Patriot air defense batteries to Ukraine “will take months,” German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said after meeting with his American counterpart Pete Hegseth on Monday, The Telegraph reports.
Berlin has offered to buy two American Patriot air defense systems for delivery to Ukraine. Pistorius said the first of these systems would not be delivered for several months.
Instead , Donald Trump said earlier that batteries would begin arriving in Ukraine within a few days to protect its cities from Russian bombing.
Pistorius declined to comment on whether he had discussed the issue of supplying offensive weapons to Ukraine with the US Secretary of Defense.
Ukraine will receive new Patriot systemsAdvertising
The United States has decided to provide new Patriot missile systems to Ukraine. President Trump announced that the United States will provide Patriot batteries to Ukraine through a mechanism in which European allies will fund the purchase and delivery of these systems, and the United States will replenish their reserves in return.
We are talking about 17 batteries that could be transferred “very soon.” Trump said that the first batteries will be deployed in the coming days.
Funding will be provided by European states and NATO: the US does not pay directly, but transfers the system, which the Europeans will pay for.

Does this guy always come out the next day and contradict what everyone said the day prior? I wonder if he’s related to Lavrov?…..
I’m also a bit confused. On the one hand, Patriots should be in Ukraine within days, and this dork claims it’ll be months. One thing is for sure; the West is anything but united.
