The Alliance condemned “Russia’s recklessness.”

Regarding the incident with a Russian drone in Romania, NATO said it condemns “Russia’s irresponsibility.” This was stated on the page of Alliance spokeswoman Allison Hart on the social network X.

“We condemn Russia’s recklessness, and NATO will continue to strengthen our defenses against all threats, including drones,” the spokeswoman said.

The Romanian Foreign Ministry also issued a statement, calling the incident a “serious and irresponsible escalation by the Russian Federation.”

“Romania will take the necessary diplomatic measures in response to this serious violation of international law and its airspace. Romania has informed allies and the NATO Secretary General about the circumstances and requested measures to accelerate the transfer of anti-drone equipment,” the ministry stressed.

Romanian diplomats added that “the Russian Federation continues to be an aggressive state, waging an illegal war, which has serious consequences for regional security and the safety of citizens.”

“The Russian Federation bears direct responsibility for these serious and irresponsible actions. Romania will act with maximum firmness to increase international pressure on the Russian Federation for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire,” the statement said.

  1. This was not an attack on a house, but an apartment block. There is a hell of a difference. There is no doubt this was a deliberate attack by mafia land, they are doing their best to drag NATO into their war. It’s easier to sell a defeat by NATO, than a defeat by Ukraine.

  2. Wow NATO condemns and Romania will act with maximum firmness. I guess the next move will be NATO strongly condemns and Romania will act with supreme firmness. I believe NATO and EU should give lessons on how to maximize one’s cowardice
