According to him, this will be a response to Ukraine’s support for frozen Russian assets.
British assets could be confiscated in Russia as retaliation for its support for Ukraine, former Russian President and current Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said, Sky News reports .

On Wednesday, September 3, UK Defense Secretary John Healy announced that his country had spent more than £1 billion on military support for Ukraine, which was paid for from frozen Russian assets.
In response, Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel that the aggressor country may take retaliatory measures against Britain.
According to the publication, in this message, the former Russian president called British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy an “English idiot.”
It is stated that Medvedev threatened that Russia would respond to “any illegal withdrawal of frozen Russian funds or profits” by seizing “British Crown assets,” including British property in Russia.
“Given that the money cannot be returned through legal proceedings for obvious reasons, our country has only one way to return the valuables: to return them in kind,” Medvedev wrote.
The publication adds that the former Russian president also did not rule out that Russia could seize more Ukrainian land.
