I fully agree with the professor; I want aid for Ukraine and I want our border to be fixed. It seems that our politicians can’t handle both concerns. What do they get paid all the money for? Screaming at each other and name-calling is not what we pay them for.
In any way, using Ukraine as a hostage to get the border fixed is not only wrong, it’s villainous. Keeping our borders open for one and all to swarm in is not only wrong, it’s villainous.
“Frankly, I think it’s stunning that we’ve gotten to this point in the first place,” Biden said, adding that the Republican Party is “willing to give Putin the greatest gift he could hope for and abandon our global leadership.”

I am starting to be very worried for the first time. At the Capitol, we have lost the compass and the common sense that goes with it.
Do they realize the consequences of their senseless actions and their political mistakes? Do they understand the weight of the threat they pose to the lives of millions of Ukrainians?
It’s total madness.
