At about 4 am on March 13, an air alert was announced in Ivano-Frankvosk, local residents were asked to go down to shelters. Strong explosions were also heard in the morning. The mayor of the city, Ruslan Martsinkiv, claims that they shot at the airport. The invaders are hitting Western Ukraine in order to intimidate the population.

“This Sunday morning in Frankivsk began with explosions. This is the third blow in Frankivsk. They hit the airport. Concerning the warning system. We will investigate why the blows were struck after the end of the alarm,” the official said.

“I remind you that the goal of the enemy is to sow panic and fear. The enemy can and will strike in the rear of Ukraine. You need to be as careful and careful as possible when you hear a message about the danger from official sources (from me, from the head of the military administration or from the application “Alarm”). And follow the instructions that you are given! Areas close to the airport, I ask for the opportunity to move,” Martsinkiv wrote on his Facebook page.

Recall that near Lviv, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the Yavoriv training ground . According to preliminary data, the enemy fired eight missiles. And in Nikolaev, the enemy bombed the Zarya state enterprise . At the moment, local authorities are establishing the extent of the damage.
