As a result of an enemy air strike near Lviv on the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security (Yavorovsky military training ground), nine heroes were killed.

As a result of the attack, 57 people were injured, Maxim Kozitsky, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, said during a press conference. 

According to preliminary data, the enemy fired at the Lvov region from Russian territory.

“Today (March 13 – Ed.) Lviv region was hit. The strike was carried out by missiles, previously, by planes from Saratov – planes took off from Russia, made a strike on their combat course, without flying into the territory …”, the official said.

Kozitsky added that, according to preliminary information, more than 30 missiles were fired.

“… The air defense system worked, a certain number were shot down. The Yavorovsky training ground was hit, at the moment 57 people are injured … they are in hospitals, nine heroes died … the fire is being extinguished at the moment,” – said is he.
