I hope JD Vance watches this video.

Yesterday, JD Vance complained that his 3-year-old daughter was scared by a group of protesters shouting “Slava Ukraini.” He even went so far as to call some of them “sh*t.”

The hypocrisy in his statement is staggering. His and Trump’s actions are directly leading to Ukrainian children being killed daily by russian missiles and drones. Now, what would you call a person like that?!

The girl in the video lost her leg due to a russian attack. Yet she continues to smile, she continues to live. She is a symbol of the unyielding strength of the Ukrainian people who are fighting pure evil.

………….

Trump’s supporters, how do you feel about this? Trump’s actions are literally killing hundreds of Ukrainians every day.

………………

Make russia Great Again!

This week, the behavior of the U.S. administration has been nothing short of disappointment.

First, they cut off arms supplies and vital intelligence to weaken Ukraine. Then, they begin aligning with russia. And all of this just so Trump can force Ukraine into capitulation under his so-called “peace deal.”

Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, also has been nothing short of a disappointment. In his recent speech, he compared Ukraine to an animal that needs to be beaten to change its behavior: “It’s like hitting a mule in the face with a two-by-four, you know. You got their attention.”

Think of what Ukraine has endured over the past three years. Instead of supporting them, Trump and his team are actively working to destroy them.

No more delusions, please!

………………….

The Russian propaganda news agency Russia Today, as well as other propaganda channels, are rejoicing over Trump’s statement that “anyone in russia’s place would strike Ukraine.”

Meanwhile, Trump cut off arms supplies and withdrew vital intelligence from the Ukrainian army. So, Ukrainians are dying in ever-increasing numbers.

…………………

Who will speak for the victims if we do not?

I am an American without any Ukrainian heritage. So I have no “ethnic” bias at play here. What I write below is based on 28 years of experience working in Ukraine. I have made 60 trips to the region since 1997, including 4 since the war began. I have visited every oblast (region) in the country except Luhansk. My total time in country exceeds 4 years. I speak Ukrainian fluently and Russian adequately. My expertise is on cultural, sociological, educational, and religious issues in Ukraine. I know the Ukrainian people very well. I know that they value freedom, family, faith, democracy, art and music, humor, poetry, and philosophy. They have unbelievable respect for the value of human life and dignity. They are diverse, direct, and hospitable all at once.

As is now crystal clear it is Trump’s strategy to “end” the war in Ukraine by enabling Russia to wipe entire Ukrainian cities off the map and pound Ukraine into utter humiliation and complete surrender.

What is just, moral, and right does not factor into Trump’s equation for so-callee peace. He clearly places no value on human life, democracy, self-determination, the rule of law, respect for international treaties or standing for justice. Instead, he is suffocating and strangling the Ukrainian people into submission while cutting off military aid, intelligence sharing, satellite access, defunding reconstruction efforts and humanitarian aid programs for the victims of this war. His approach to ending this war aligns more with Putin than with any Western democratic principles or values. That should say something.

And don’t blame this on anyone other than Trump. These are solely his decisions. Yes, Biden should have done more, as should have his predecessors including Trump version I. Trump was behind the multiple-month Republican delay in approving Ukrainian support in 2023–2024. Do not forget that.

This war may temporarily stop, and some people may breathe a sigh of relief thinking that WWIII has been avoided. Unfortunately, Putin doesn’t think that way. He simply will wait and rearm, ready to strike again. Look at every conflict that Russia and Putin have started in the last two decades. All you have done is kick the can down the road so that your children and grandchildren will have to fight an even worse war.

In the meantime people are massacred, lives are destroyed, families are torn apart, and entire towns and villages are wiped off the face of the earth each day in Ukraine. Every single day.

I can’t live in the delusion that peace will happen without giving Ukraine more support instead of just enough to barely keep them alive.

My conscience won’t let me be silent.

For seven straight weeks, Tesla’s stock has been on a downward spiral — the longest losing streak in its 15 years as a public company.

On Friday, Tesla closed at $270.48, finishing the week down more than 10% and hitting its lowest level since Election Day. Since its peak in December, Tesla has lost over $800 billion in market value.

Musk’s incompetent behavior could cost Tesla its future.

Russia has intensified the frequency and scale of its attacks against Ukraine, according to the Institute for the Study of War.

Trump’s actions have emboldened russia to take more aggressive measures against Ukraine. At the same time, the U.S. President cut off arms supplies, including air defenses, and withdrew vital intelligence from the Ukrainian military, slowing their reaction time.

Mar 8

Today, russia shelled the city of Dobropillia, Ukraine, using a double-tap attack. At least 11 civilians are dead, and 30 are wounded.

At first, russian forces struck several buildings. Then, they waited until rescuers arrived and hit the same area again.

These double-tap attacks have killed hundreds of civilians and first responders. This behavior is beyond evil.

The number of casualties has increased in recent days since the President of the U.S. cut off arms supplies, including air defenses, and withdrew vital intelligence from the Ukrainian military, slowing down their reaction time.

The U.S. will have to bear the weight of history and the betrayal of Ukraine.

One comment

  1. Trump is an ass. I can’t believe we have to put up with his insanity for another four years. He is a worse politizier than anyone who came before him. He has become a disgrace to America.
