Google-AI unwittingly partners with the Kremlin to destroy world history

Red Square Maidan – https://ukrainetoday.org/ 05-07-2026

History is not always written by the winners; it is increasingly written by the losers and by propagandists

It is no secret that the Kremlin spends billions of dollars every year to spin historical events in their favor.  Corrections are always necessary but often too slow and unimpactful to make any difference.  So, the propaganda lives on.

What makes things worse is historic inaccuracies being aided by Moscow’s digital hybrid war, by Google-Ai.  Furthermore, with all the references in the world piled on mountains of servers, Google chooses to use unreliable and biased sources like Facebook and Reddit.

“Comrade Lenin Cleanses Earth of Filth”

Case in Point.

In an attempt to verify a Kremlin claim that it was the Soviet Union that singlehandedly defeated the Nazis in World War 2, I asked Google-Ai if Russia/Soviet Union EVER had a military victory it won solo.

My answer?  Google-Ai said:

Yes, Russia and the Soviet Union have won several wars that they fought themselves, most notably in World War II, the Great Northern War, and the Napoleonic Wars.

The attached references were from Reddit and the Hoover Institute.

With reference to WW2, Google-Ai used a post from Reddit that was previously deleted.  Probably because of its historical inaccuracy!

This was reported, “The Soviet Union wins World War Two. They grind the Germans up, tie down major parts of the German army, and push gigantic distances to throw the Nazis back onto Berlin.”

Additionally, the Social Media post used poor English which could also indicate the text was translated or from a foreign source, like the Kremlin.

For the Hoover Institute’s part they claimed, “the German invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941 ended with the Red Army in Berlin.”  As if merely walking into Berlin was the act that made the Nazis give up their fight.

So, I told Google-Ai, “That’s not true, the Soviet Union was allied with the US, UK, France and others during WW2. And during the Napoleonic wars, Russia was allied with the UK, Sweden, Austria and Prussia. These are historical facts, how could Google AI be so wrong?!”

Google-Ai response was, “You are completely correct about those alliances, and that is a fair correction. Both of those conflicts were massive coalition efforts, not solo victories.”

Then Google-Ai gave me another list of supposed Moscow “solo victories” to answer my original question and this is what they gave me:

  The Winter War (1839–1840 / Russian-Khivan War): The Russian Empire launched a unilateral campaign to conquer the Khanate of Khiva (modern-day Uzbekistan), successfully expanding its territory into Central Asia without any external allies.

  The Russian-Circassian War (1763–1864): A century-long, solo conquest of the Caucasus region. The Russian Empire fought entirely alone against local coalition tribes and secured total control of the region.

  The Soviet-Ukrainian War (1917–1921): Following the Russian Revolution, the Bolshevik Red Army fought a solo war against the Ukrainian People’s Republic, ultimately conquering the territory and absorbing it into what became the Soviet Union.

  The Red Army Invasion of Georgia (1921): The Soviet military launched a unilateral invasion of the Democratic Republic of Georgia, establishing a Soviet regime there without any foreign assistance.

As russia constantly whines and complains that Ukraine is being helped by friends and allies against putin’s fascist imperialism, as usual, the reverse is correct when it comes to Kremlin propaganda.  Just like all the other wars russia was involved with, they needed help to win.  In putin’s current genocidal war on Ukraine, they are helped by Belarus, Iran, China, North Korea and Syria at a minimum.

In the end, Moscow has had decisive victories against much smaller nations, all more than 100 years ago like Georgia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Chechnya.  Note the defeat of Chechnya took the Moskali 100 years.

As another note, Moscow’s war with Finland, in my opinion, is debatable if the russian’s really won since they lost a huge number of soldiers for just 11% of Finnish territory, temporarily.

The disgraced New York Times reporter, Walter Duranty

Is there a way to avoid these Duranty-like assertions?

For most readers it would be normal to trust their usual news sources, like journalist Walter Duranty’s employer, The New York Times.  And Duranty in particular especially after winning a Pulitzer Prize for his propaganda in Ukraine during the Holodomor in 1933.

This tragic inaccuracy continues even today after TWO Pulitzer Prize reviews of Duranty’s work knowing very well he helped Joseph Stalin and his crimes against humanity in 1990 and 2003 and STILL will not withdraw Duranty’s ill-gotten prize which resulted in millions and millions of Ukrainian lives.

Readers and Researchers would both do well to follow old journalistic traditions and get more than one source for their questions and for Readers to go outside of their political comfort zone and seek both sides of an issue before considering their informed conclusion.  If for no other reason than avoid spreading propaganda or deadly inaccuracies like the disgraced Duranty did. Propaganda kills.

  1. While AI can be a wonderful source of quick information, it has also learned from human error how to lie and obfuscate the truth.

    • Something else for social media to corrupt. Now anyone can be a doctor, lawyer or journalist, just get them a Facebook account and put a keyboard in front of them.

        • FB is used by kremkrappers, Marxists and magaputler shitheads no question.
But it is also an absolutely crucial platform for dedicated native Ukrainian and pro-Ukraine bloggers from all parts. Their credentials and veracity can easily be confirmed by a simple internet search.
ALL the posts I put out are 100% genuine. Their work can be cross-referenced by their published output on highly reputable sites such as the KP, KI, EP, YouTube etc.
