Georgia’s police force became a source of pride for its people. So good were they that Poro brought a Georgian politician into his team to do the same job with Ukrainian cops. It worked well.
Georgian cops have now regressed to a Soviet-type rabble under the putlerist regime that established itself in 2012.
The descent of Georgia into a dictatorship is down to Dubya. He completely failed his friend in 2008. He could have established a U.S. base there and that would have pressured putler out of Abkhazia.
Instead, emboldened by that catastrophic failure, he moved into Crimea, where he met another piss-weak response; this time from borderline tankie Obama.
